Siberian Moon hand raised kittens
Health
Since cats can acquire new parasites from something as simple as eating a fly, we consider it good health practice to give all our kittens a very mild worming medicine called Strongid at two, four, six and eight weeks of age.
Kittens visit the veterinarian for their first set of vaccinations and complete exam with Health Certificate at ten weeks old.
The details of the vaccinations are on the Health Certificate that you'll receive at pickup. You will want to make a "new kitten" appointment with your veterinarian ASAP, and schedule spay or neuter according to their policies.
It isn’t practical for us to have every kitten tested, but all our adults are negative for FeLV and FIV.
More importantly, we are a closed cattery, meaning we don’t expose our cats to disease by allowing outside Queens to come here for breeding.
